Hi! I'm Bee. I grew up in Michigan, where I studied creative writing and worked as a barista for several years. I moved to a tiny seaside village in northern Japan at age thirty to teach English for one year. Over fifteen years later, I am still here.
I started writing writing the story that eventually became Clueless at the Coffee Station during my early years in Japan. It's always been a comfort to be able to return to that imaginary coffee shop in Michigan while adjusting to life in a new country, or to a new job, or to motherhood. I hope you enjoy visiting the Coffee Station, too.
When I'm not writing, I like to go for walks, draw, read, and bake. Making this website on Neocities and dusting off my Y2K-era html knowledge has also been a fun challenge.
